This project has the opportunity to investigate the possibility to put together progresses in real-time monitoring and BIM to create a District Information Modelling (DIM) for a representative part of the Kuala Lumpur city (used as case study) based on simulation framework able to collect, process and remotely visualize district level energy usage. The overall objective is to create a district information model and Management System (DBMS). The purpose of the system is to represent in real-time the heating/cooling/electricity networks of the district using 3D parametric models of the buildings as a graphical database in order to manage data in an easy way.
